Sexy isn’t all Justin Timberlake is bringing back.

The singer (slash dancer slash actor slash showman of our time) killed the #tbt game this week when his spirited performance of Bell Biv DeVoe’s 1990 hit “Poison” went viral.

Spoiler alert: It’s amazing.

Justin Timberlake knows that girl is #POISON!

The video, which was actually filmed in 2013 on Timberlake’s “20/20 Experience” World Tour, was resurrected via BBD’s Facebook page last Thursday. It has since been viewed over 30 million times.

Timberlake’s rendition featured the song’s original choreography — and clearly received Bell Biv DeVoe’s stamp of approval.

If this is the Brooklyn stop, why did he say “ya’ll don’t hear me Anaheim”?

  • ckmthomas7

Not surprised! He’s made an extremely successful career of “duping” OUR music, style, dance, etc.!!

    • tallsweettea

I disagree ckmthomas7 justin is from memphis tn and u cant be soft growing up there. You cant emulate that is in him. A lot of soul in memphis

      • ckmthomas7

True, soul in Memph, Tenn. But, c’mon now! There’s no soul IN him; just what he has learned to affect when necessary.

        • Manalto

          Judgy

          • ckmthomas7

Negative, @Manalto:disqus! Just an honest assessment.

    • LolaS

You mad cause a white person does “your” music, style, dance better?

      • cosmic kidd

Um yea, it’s not that he did or does it better, it’s the fact that he’s white and doing R&B music he’s going to get more hype than a black guy of equal or better talent plus his music will automatically be in the pop category when the black guy with the same track of equal or better talent is stuck in only the R&B category….thats the issue

        • Angie Russo Schoenagle

should not even be an issue

          • cosmic kidd

It shouldn’t be an issue but unfortunately it’s how it is..

          • ckmthomas7

            But, it is!

          • Angie Russo Schoenagle

wtf kind of reply is that? it is only an issue because people with small minds make it one.

          • Aneka Shavonne Mayes

            Shouldn’t be but is.

        • ckmthomas7

Ikr! And I’m not saying he’s untalented. I’m just stating the truth and folks are choking on it!

        • LolaS

I guess you’ll have to get over since it’s been done for decades and people LOVE IT!

        • Manalto

You’d only be upset if dance moves are all you’ve got.

      • ckmthomas7

Better? Absolutely never! Mad? Not necessarily. Just a bit annoyed, at times.

      • SHARON Jackson

        not better

        • LolaS

Must be, since you’re so f’ing whiny about it. If it wasn’t better, you wouldn’t care so much.

          • Aneka Shavonne Mayes

            Better? Absolutely not.

          • LolaS

Absolutely so. He’s at the top of the heap of male R&B performers. You might not like it (because he’s white), but millions do. Get over it, whiner.

    • Sb80

Duping? Seriously? Come on now.. Let’s grow up a bit.

      • ckmthomas7

Acceptance of truth IS a sign of maturity. Unabashedly stating truth is courageous! Absolutely nothing I typed was a lie or without merit.

        • Angie Russo Schoenagle

courageous? for trolling on the internet? na fighting in a war, putting your life on the line for your job ( fire , police nurses etc ) is courageous

    • Angie Russo Schoenagle

our? SMH first off he has the talent it is no duping

      • ckmthomas7

Talent? Sure. But, duping? MOST DEFINITELY!

        • Angie Russo Schoenagle

no it is not duping at all. <y point is. it isn't YOUR music. music is universal/

    • Brian Dexter Williams

“Our” music has been universal for decades. You’re kinda late. Eminem embraced it and blew it out of the water. If you created something that was “duped”, you would be more gracious

  • jabm1913

    LMBO!!!

  • WindsorLambiotte

“….burying black people out of sight and out of mind while extracting our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil – black gold, ghettoizing and demeaning our creations then stealing them, gentrifying our genius and then trying us on like costumes before discarding our bodies like rinds of strange fruit. The thing is though… the thing is that just because we’re magic doesn’t mean we’re not real…”
    -Jesse Williams, BET Awards 2016

  • Mary Lindahl

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery… Also as a society we need to stop with “OUR”. We have to become one or nothing will ever change. Much love to all.

  • carme

it was great, they looked like they were having a good time. Stop making something negative out of it

  • kelemvor

Should show the original and this one next to each other to see how they compare if he copied all the moves and everything.

    • ckmthomas7

Of course not! But, if he reads your post, he’ll go into hiding to ENSURE it’s fully replicated!
